Hands on Care

Here at Orlando Family Chiropractic we take it back to the basics. The only tool we use here are our hands! We also have drop pillows and we may use the activator from time to time.

Prenatal Care

Prenatal chiropractic care offers gentle adjustments that help alleviate many symptoms of pregnancy discomfort, such as back pain. Additionally, it helps to improve posture, help balance the pelvis, and improves overall well-being of mother and child.

What is a subluxation?

It is when the bones of your spine get out of proper alignment and put pressure on the joints and nerves causing joint and nerve dysfunction.

Can I get adjusted while pregnant?

Yes, you can be adjusted while pregnant. Prenatal chiropractic care offers techniques that help to alleviate common pregnancy symptoms such as back pain, as well as improve posture and overall health during pregnancy.

At what age can I get my child adjusted?

From newborn on. There is no set age that you child should wait to be until getting adjusted. It is never too early to be focused on your spine health! And there are benefits of chiropractic at every age.

How much does a visit to your office cost?

The cost of a visit depends on your type of insurance. Usually your insurance card will tell you what your copayment amount would be.

Call and confirm with your provider whether we are considered an office visit or a specialist visit as different plans have us listed as different things.

Can I still come in without Insurance?

Yes we do accept patients that do not have or choose not to go through insurance. The current cost for an adjustment without insurance is $55.00 for your first visit, then $40.00 for all subsequent visits.

Do you have the ability to do X-rays in your office?

At this time we currently do not have an X-ray machine in our office. If you need an X-ray you will need to go to a different facility.

However if you have already had an X-ray and would like to bring it in for the doctor to look at you may do so during your appointment.

How often do I need to be adjusted?

It depends on the individual and their spines' needs. Some patients need to come in a couple times a week , whereas others come in once a month; it depends on that patient's needs. After your first consultation with the doctor, they will inform you of how often you should come in.

What types of ailments do you heal?

We do not heal any ailments, the body does. We simply correct subluxations that are blocking proper nerve function. With that being said, some conditions that have been helped by chiropractic in our office are:

Sciatica , Allergies, Asthma,

Headaches, Vertigo, Back Pain

Do I need a referral to come visit?

No you do not need a referral to come to our office, we should be considered a primary care doctor.

What Insurances are you in Network with?

We are currently In-Network with Medicare and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Sheild.

We do not accept Medicaid or NJ Family Care insurance. If you have further questions please feel free to call the office.

What causes a subluxation?

Life.

As humorous as that sounds it is the truth. It does not take a physical injury or accident to create a subluxation. Below are just a few everyday examples of what may cause a subluxation:

A bad day at work, doing laundry, sleeping on a plane, worrying

Do you deal with auto accident cases?

No.

Unfortunately, we do not currently accept auto accident or personal injury cases.
